Driver Bio
Ben Pettis began his racing career at the age of twelve where he became successful racing go-carts throughout the upper Midwest. Then in 1997 he parked the cart and started turning the wheel on his own Legends car. This experience yielded Pettis "Most Determined Driver" and "Rookie of The Year" honors in his first year of competition. The next two seasons Pettis was named WI Semi-pro Division State Champion as well as Track Champion at Marshfield Super speedway.
In the year 2000 Pettis got behind the wheel of a Super Late Model sponsored by Menard's. Before long he became a three time winner in only his sophomore year of racing in this competitive class. He also finished a very respectable third in the points championship.
With every new year Pettis is poised to improve upon last year with consistency and determination. It was this determination that earned him the 2005 Track Championship at Marshfield Super Speedway in the Super Late Model class. |
